The Onyx restaurant deserved its Michelin Star on 16th March 2011, Costes restaurant retains its Star for the fouth time again in 2013, according to the newly released Michelin Guide Main Cities of Europe 2013.

The beginning of May (30th April – 8th May 2013) has a celebratory spirit during Košice Day. On this day, the city of Košice commemorates being awarded the first European town coat of arms by Emperor Louis the Great on 7 May 1369.

The first four editions of International Georg Philipp Teleman Violin Competition in the 2000-2003 took place as a all-Poland events. Since 2004 it is international competition. It is organized by Association of Georg Philipp Telemann Violin Competition and Jarmołowicz Artistic Agency, and co-organizer Poznan Generally Music School Ist deg. of Henryk Wieniawski, Poznan Generally Music School II deg. of Mieczysław Karłowicz and Poznan Filharmony of Tadeusz Szeligowski.

Continuing the highly successful tradition of the past years, in the spring of 2013 the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest is again staging a photographic exhibition. The show will feature around 250 shots by one of the greatest figures of fashion and advertising photography, Helmut Newton, reflecting his most significant creative periods.
